Itsu is launching its miso soups?for the first time ever in Sainsbury?s supermarkets.
Launching in two?instant varieties ? Original and Vegetarian these traditional Japanese soups will be available nationally from April 2013.
itsu miso soups?come in a paste (rather than a powder) giving them a fuller flavour and texture.
Available in a pouch format with three servings in every pouch (RRP ?2.25), itsu?miso soups are designed to take with you on the go.
The soup is ready in an instant?- add boiling water to the paste and stir for a soup with nutrients,minerals and protein.
With?44 calories per serving for the original variety (that contains bonito fish)?and 42 calories for the vegetarian variety, they hope to appeal as a?post work-out snack.
itsu miso paste is also a versatile cooking ingredient that can be used?for seasoning a variety of recipes.
