A pedestrian is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Union City late Thursday night, according to police.
At about 10:19 p.m., Union City police received a report of a collision between a vehicle and pedestrian near the intersection of Union City Boulevard and Horner Street.
Officers responded to the area and found an unresponsive male lying in the street.
The pedestrian was transported to a local trauma center with life-threatening injuries, according to police.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the collision remained at the scene and cooperated with the police investigation.
